Its time to add a press to my tool collection, I like the look off an old fly press but would a hydraulic press be more useful. Not sure what i will be using it for just want one as it may come in use one day. I just like playing in my shed.

More control on a fly press.
What would be powering the hydraulic press?

The hydraulic press is what I use for pressing in and out car wheel bearings from the hubs / drums - with an assortment of mandrels. Simply can't do the job without it! John :)

B&s - a fly-press is better for batch production due to it's 'fast action'. A decent small-size (they come in a range of sizes) 2nd-hand press shouldn't cost too much from one of the specialist used equip dealers; I picked one up a couple of years ago for £60.
