Hi all, i've been given a Flymo Quicksilver 46sdr mower.

It looks fairly new and unused but wont start,

I've looked at it and can see that the choke lever and surrounding levers arent connected so the choke isnt working at all, i need to know what springs are missing and where they fit on the mechanism.

The engine is a Briggs and Stratton engine

The mechanism i am refering to is above the fuel tank and underneath the air filter housing.

Any help and/or pictures would be greatly appreciated

This engine may not have a choke at all - often just a few presses of the primer bulb are all thats needed.
Similarly there may not be any throttle control - the motor is kept at constant speed by the governor.

take the air filter off and put a teaspoon of petrol in the carb that should make it start
