Anyone else noticed how this forum is an excellent example of Freud's 'therories'? - i.e. all of our issues are revolved around repressed sexual ideas. (in short: Can I eat it?, can it eat me?, can I sh@g it?, will it sh@g me?)

Why did you feel the need to start this thread? Why does it have to be in a room (as in the title)? Is it warm in this room? Do you feel protected and safe? Do you love the room? Do you feel the need to talk about eating and sex?

The brain is a wonderful repository for information and suggestions, then it is not hard to imagine a person being programmed throughout life into acting the way they do, the way a person has been stimulated by input through their lives can greatly affect their persona ie whether they are outgoing and confident or shy and withdrawn.

The human brain being as complex as it is ( i make exceptions in softus's case ) there are no definitive rules but surveys have shown how a person can either become ill or cure themselves of all manner of physical illness, such a powerful tool can also be fooled into thinking something has happened or not (again clearly this has happened in softus's case ).
