Afternoon all,
I've had a request from a client I need a bit of help with.
Panel fitted is Galaxy 96.
Used to be a comercial property that's now been returned to domestic, alarms in good nick so clients chosen to keep it as is.
Client has an elderly relative who keeps leaving the back door open. Question is could I set up a linked alarm to sound at the keypad when the rear doors been left open for a set period of time which would then self cancel once the doors been closed?
Don't have a huge amount of experience with Galaxy links hence the request for help.
Thanks in advance
Mike

Not sure on the galaxy these days , used to have a job where some external beams where linked to an output to activate cctv, it may have been " video output " ..... Zone mimic comes to mind but it was a galaxy 500.
I do use this type of function on some Texecom premiers on some fire doors so it can be done...
Galaxy guy will be your best bet as am not sure what outputs are available on the newer panels

Cheers. Had a think about it and could you set up the door contact, via a link, to activate a log delay (with pre determined time via parameters)? Which in turn you'd link to the horn output on the keypad, *10 I think it is. I drew it out and by my reasoning it would work, as I said tho needs a full understanding of links, and how they can determine the state of an output. Don't want to set it up and it goes off but then doesn't reset
