Galaxy with Viper issue

I guess the options are ....omit zone and still set the rest ....if this is not available and you unable to set the alarm , then taking the panel lid off is the only option
What zone is the viper on ?
What zones are the other powered devices on ?

I can select omit zones from the menu but then it doesn't let me cycle through them to actually omit them. The vipers are on a separate zone from everything else. So it's either risk taking the panel lid off or ring an engineer? I don't have an engineer's code so might have to give in and ring someone.

Just in case this is useful for anyone else...

I got an engineer in to look at it. Apparently there would be a an error code if the issue was a fuse. He checked the backup battery and power supply in the box and all OK. That leaves a break in the wire. Unfortunately the wires are all embedded under floors and in walls with no access.

The only cost effective solution is to abandon the vipers and put in a PIR to cover this room instead.

Thank you Sparkymarka for all your help.
