Hi all. We have moved into an old stone wall house and there has obviously been an issue with moisture coming in through the stone walls so the previous owner has removed the plasterboard and left the stone walls exposed. The removal of the plasterboard has left a gap of about 1- 2 inches between the ceiling and the wall and this has been filled with cement and painted over but the cement is now breaking up and falling out and leaving large holes/gaps all around the room.
Is anyone able to give advice on how best to refill this gap more permanently without having the ceiling replaced?
Thanks.
