Garage Insulation

(note that they put in the DPM between the insulation and plasterboard, but I do not know best method).
You would put a vapor control layer on the warm side of the insulation otherwise you could get condensation forming on the wall.

Really only going to be a problem if the garage is going to be heated and there has been no mention of that.

Hi, need a bit more help guys I am putting battens on the wall to than place the celotex on the single garage brick wall. Question the bottom two bricks have the damp course webbing do I batten to just above them which means the wall is not insulated on those bottom two bricks or do I batten all the way down to the floor but is this not bridging the damp course! Help please.

Our previous advice was that there is no point insulating an unheated garage. Why are you going ahead anyway?

Hang a DPM (thick polythene sheet) on the wall. Include 200mm floor and ceiling overlap
