when fitting a hob i have always been under the understanding that the tolerances are 750 above the flame to the extractor and 150 to either side of the flame this is the area of no units ..
now i am told it is 50 mm either side of the hob unit . does anyone have any links to aid me in this .
i have a customer who has installed his kitchen and is adament the units are ok so i need something to show him.
all the stuff on the net is differnet .. and my gas book is crap ./

If you're Corgi registered you will have access to Gas Installer technical articles which cover it. I think you can also download the articles from the Corgi site.

Which gas book? It's in the dogs' orange book. Doubt it's online anywhere.

Log into the installers section at corgi-group.com, select gas installer from top bar and then technical articles. It's dated Oct 04 I think.
