The articles I found online about Waldheim and his Nazi past were published in 2007.

I don't know about the princess but I listened to The Ratline radio serial a few years back when I was re-doing my shed and it blew my mind. The US gave immunity to lots of Nazi officers who had committed war crimes in exchange for turning double agent and information.

My grandfather was banged up after the war he was in the police probably the gestapo ?

My great uncle was in Stalingrad alive 3 days before they surrendered

Yes my family is the same, hence why I only found out about my Great Grandfather and his involvement in the Masons recently. Apparently, my Grandmother walked into his study one day without knocking and he had all his regalia out that she wasn't meant to see. The cat was out of the bag so to speak. They never talked about it once. They just pretended it never happened. People are funny aren't they!
