Just to let you guys know, as I feel like telling everyone, just found out yesterday my girlfriend is pregnant, and I am really excited about being a Daddy!! I just want to fast forward 9 months!

Well Done John......................the day your child is born will be the best day of your life. Trust me. You will have a smile on your face for the first 3 months.

PS. Get some sleep in now as the first 18 years are the hardest. (I've still got 8 to go)

1 more hoodie on the streets of Liverpool to contend with in 15 years

haha jokin man I got 2 boys and hope to god they dont end up like that, suppose once they reach a certain age you then only have a minimal influence, key thing is to get it right as early as possible to make it easier during the horrid teenage years!! good luck!!

congratulations, but marriage should have come first.

Wotan

;)

WHY?

Congrats, my sons are 14 and 16.
Out of wedlock, until they were a bit older and got married. Then it went tits up, but they are solid and love life!

Congrats John, Just make sure your there for the birth. The most amazing natural event you'll ever witness. Watched my first daughter born over 32 yrs ago now and still remember the wife kicking the student midwife that assisted the midwife square in the jaw (foot slipped )

I had a grin like the Cheshire cat for weeks after, and felt honoured to have watched my daughter being born.

Thanks guys, I can't wait!

Really looking forward to finding out if it's a boy or a girl, I will definately be at the birth, I will do everything to give my child a better dad than I had, absolutely everything!

(I don't really believe in marriage)

Got to be at the birth.
Was at both of mine when born.
I defy any man to say he never felt so emotional ( apart from a hot curry and a cold larger and the thought of getting the said woman preggers :D)

Congratulations to you both John.
As stated, make sure you are there for the birth. You can see these things on telly any time but you only get one chance when its your own and there is no other feeling like it. I defy any man not to cry, (either in front of others or in private), after witnessing this event. It can be the most demanding task you both face in life but conversely it can also be the most rewarding, especially when they present you with beautiful grand children some time in the distant future.
Hope all goes well for you both.
