Can someone advise. I need to change the facias and guttering on my property. The problem I have is I have 3 in guttering and the adjoing property has 3 inch. The downpipe is in the middle of the 2 properties. As you can now only buy 4inch, how do I join in the middle to the downpipe?

A new gutter outlet is about a fiver, and downpipe just over £10, so I would replace them too

Thanks Woody, would the neighbours guttering fit onto the new 4 inch outlet ok or would I need a reducer?

There should be reducers available for all older profiles - unless it was some wacky one-off job - in which case if the neighbours don't want to renew you just bodgit!

3" will sit into new 4" with a couple of screws and a tube of silicone or 'plumbers mait'. No problem
