For example if you get arrested and released without charge your record remains. Or if you get a penalty notice for littering, or attend an interview voluntarily.

And what a lot of people don't know is that should you need an enhanced DBS there are police records that are checked for along with those already listed...I don’t know.

But they help with 'crime clear up' figures...Cautions are the biggest scam going. I know plenty of people offered cations who had not admitted guilt and after a 5 minute conversation hadn’t even committed a crime.
