Have gas safety checks changed regarding earthing?

Sounds like he doesn't if he thinks "Gas pipes should always be earth bonded"

Equipotential bonding is only required if the extraneous conductive parts can introduce a potential to the property. If the feed is non metallic then it's not possible. Do you know what bonding is for?

So I was told by the gas engineer that did my last landlords certificate.

So if you'd care to elaborate on the "Oh dear" Dan, that would be appreciated.

LOL!! A saying my Dad always used; "With electrics son, a little knowledge is a very dangerous thing".
In my experience, the wire puller Sparks have the least knowledge of the subject.
