Heavy Curtain Issues

Hi, my mother has an issues with heavy curtains.
The curved curtain track she has is situated in a bay window and its fixed into plasterboard, not brickwork.

The old curtains were fine but the new ones are pulling the fixings out of the plasterboard.
I'm stuck on what to do to keep these curtains up

Any ideas?

Best give us a pic of the fixings you are using at the present but I'd be considering fixing timber laths with hollow wall fixings to the plasterboard (plus no nails maybe) and fixing the curtain runners to that.
