Height of laziness

I never knew you could microwave a steak . . . You learn summat new everyday :)

The rump steak isn't too bad to be honest. Me and the squaw go to 'Spoons on a Steak Night tuesday sometimes and I reckon a steak dinner including a pint for just under seven quid ain't bad.
The microwave curries on a thursday Curry Night are a bit rough though.
Try not and be too hard on the staff. They earn a pittance and are on zero hours contracts. They also have to serve tracksuit wearing benefit claiming pond life all day. Well this is certainly the case in the Spoons I have been in. Recently in one of my geographically local Spoons a couple of gentlemen were discovered in a bog cubicle having a game of 'hide the sausage' and were escorted swiftly to the exit by the staff.
I wouldn't get out of bed to do their job.
I note that their owner, Tim Martin, has got rid of that magnificently ridiculous mullet hairdo (on a par with Pat Sharpe in his day....before the Steve Wright song about 'Pat Sharpes Hair') for something a little more conservative.

Agree about value, £2.45 for a pint of lager in " Greater ? " London is unbelievable. They're not on zero contract hours any more & are paid above minimum wage. But cheep alcohol does attract less desirable clientele, I mean, I drink there.

In some cases it is over £4 a pint
