Please can I have some advice, I am very short of money but need to get this sorted.
The toilet was blocked this morning and now some of the water comes up through the bath plug hole.
I have used a plunger all day , and a snake- which seems to be able to be pushed in a very long way but nothing is clearing it.I dont think its solid item fell in the bowl just normal waste.
A friend looked under the manhole outside and all is clear - he put rods in and they went in full length ok - the downstairs sink drains away ok but nothing upstairs does.
Its an internal stack made of cast iron and cover with plasterboard panels - if i can get the panels off - will there be a way into the pipe through a panel or something?
If worst comes to worst and I need call someone out, what is it going to cost me?

It wont be easy getting onto the roof, theres a conservatory in the way :-(

I have had to call in for a jetter for a blockiage like this before, My ram would not touch it, my worm would not touch it, the lads for metro rod came out and it truned out to be one of those bloody ****ty clip on bleach things

:(

that cost the client about 150 plus BLAIRS bit

I dont buy those bleach things so I know its not one of those down there.

If you want to avoid spending a lot of money then get that WC pan removed so that you can have a good poke around.
