Hide Cables

You've quoted what I said.

I'm sure you understand it. If you want to know what other sparks feel about something, why don't you ask them?

In domestic premises, that's my experience.

Not sure what point you're desperately trying to prove, but I don't want to play your game any more.

if you want to consider that you have won, you have my congratulations.
I'm not playing games.

Are you?

Can you tell us what statistically valid survey you have caried out which shows that there are more bad installations than good?

It seems like you are playing games. You want, as ever, to prove whatever you want to prove and that you are "right".

Perhaps (and I hadn't considered this), it isn't a game to you. Perhaps you take this very seriously.

You made a claim.

I asked you how justified it was.

I just did - didn't you notice the question mark at the end of my last post?

It remains to see if any of them answer :)

Kind Regards, John
I go to more bad instalations than good, because thats where the faults occur, i am sure there is more good ones but unless you do install work, there is no reason to go to the good ones, I wouldnt say the whole installs bad though, just usually a small percentage of the entire site, you can nearly always see something rough if you look though, but not always dangerous.

Quite so - and I presume that was the point BAS was making, and is certainly the reason why I asked you if you were really suggesting that there were more bad domestic installs than good ones (and you merely replied that I had "quoted what you said").

As you imply, if one's experience of electrical installations is largely limited to those which "aren't good"(i.e. which 'have faults'), then one is obviously in no position to judge what proportion of installs are good and what proportion are bad.
