Hi!

I am wating to hang a pair of MDF doors 8ft high x 30" x 18mm thick.

What would be the best type of hinges to use?
I was hoping I would be able to use some heavy duty hinges of the type you use on kitchen doors. like these http://www.screwfix.com/app/sfd/cat/pro.jsp?cId=A326397&ts=27059&id=16131

Would I need 3 prs or would 2 prs be enough?
Im concerned in case they dont grip properly into the MDF and work loose over time!

Any help or comments would be appreciated

Thanks
Rob

Going by the charts Blum supply you will need about 4 pairs as your door will weigh approx 28kg. You could reduce this buy using ultralight MDF.

Also buy decent hinges by Blum with better mounting plates than the ones SF do and use all three screw holes.

Thanks Jason
I'd never heard of Blum, but they certainly look the biz!
Are they expensive? I couldnt find any prices on their site.
Do they have fast delivery times?
