Hi, im about to do a roof job, ridge and hip tiles rebed, iv been on loads of roofs, and confident on walking on them, sometiems use cat ladder, (have 2, both 16ft) however does anyone have any tips on access to hip tiles? theres only 1 hip on this roof, and not that long, only a short run. but dont fancy walking on hip/ 1 side of roof, normally on ridge i just sit on them and work back. so any help or advise is welcome. thanks.

thanks for quick reply, but both options are out, reasons being: both to expensive, and hip im working on is Small. Im looking for more traditional (usally more dangerous) ways, ones that dont take forever to put up, or cost a fortune just to please H&S. like cat ladders, i have 1 manufactured one and 1 home made, and i prefer my home made, more "footing" on roof, not sat 4 inches of roof like on a manufactured one. also i was thinking of making a cat ladder to hook on ridge, but make it on a angle so i can work of that as it goes down the hip.
