It's probable that support for Macron will surge in the process.

Threatening their fishermen with gunboat diplomacy will, for sure, make them sit up and become involved. Certainly support will flood to the fishermen from all quarters of France, and probably the EU.
It's probable that support for Macron will surge in the process.
Well of course.
Nobody doubts that, not even Stooge Mottie, Stooge Dumplum, Stooge Bodd, or Stooge Filly.

French President Emmanuel Macron's ruling party on Monday promised to change the flagship measure of a proposed security law, which would restrict the filming of police officers, after the provision sparked large protests for infringing on free speech and police accountability in the country.

Two points: The French are no way as suspicious of foreigners as the British are.
It will be cheaper than for UK citizensOnly if its cheap enough
An extra cost and time limitedDo it all online; its not hard
For extras, not what the EHIC card covers...I don't go anywhere without Insurance; Do you
What the EHIC card does do is give you unlimited cover time wise...If I was ever unfortunate enough to fall ill or have an accident while abroad, I’d want to go to the nearest hospital that could treat me and not worry about the cost of anything. You just can’t do that with an EHIC. I’ve told you that before but you just won’t listen, will you?

Is it a substitute for travel insurance?
No. While it's useful, EHIC is only about medical cover. It gives you access to state-run hospitals which, depending on where you travel to, can be few or far between, and more limited.
The EHIC gives valuable protection but it should never be seen as a substitute for travel insurance.
No it doesn’t. Yours, like mine, will expire in less than three weeks time. Get over it.What the EHIC card does do is give you unlimited cover time wise...
Yeah thanks for that you ignorant f*****...No it doesn’t. Yours, like mine, will expire in less than three weeks time. Get over it.
Not that I would wish harm on anyone...
But should you find yourself in need of medical treatment in an EU/EEA country which your cherished private healthcare policy won't cover then I wouldn't shed any tears...
Is that all you can come up with?Your a bit of a **** really.
Is that all you can come up with?
I'm merely commenting on the fact that those who voted to leave have shafted all of us over universal healthcare in 31 countries...
But then I guess you don't get the implications of that either!
