I remember the assistant chief police officer for the Metropolitan Police, some years ago, mentioning that something like 85% of crime in London was committed by, young black males. All he was doing was quoting statistics (gathered by the Met Police). He was castigated by the media and government and accused of being racist , simply for stating facts.
So the real question is,, Can you state facts or empirical evidence, without being either bigoted or racist??
Seems not these days.
Sky News interviewed some young gang members on TV this week, concerning the riots and looting in London. 4 out of 4 gang members were black or of mixed race, (not too difficult to tell, even with the hoodies and masks) I didn't see them being accused of racism though. (probably because they don't represent any sort of authority)
