Upload to such as :- http://imagehost.darkernet.co.uk/index.php
100k max size
When complete they give you the address for your picture, copy 'control c' the selected text and paste 'control V' into your post, between the open and close image tags :- [ img]the address of picture [/img ] NB. No gaps before or after [ or ] and the word image I left a gap for illustrative purposes. When you know how, see what happens with a gap using preview.
Thanks. In my case the picture is on my c:\ drive, so do I enter c:\filename.jpg between the tags?[/QUOTE]
no! you need to upload it to an image host like the one empip suggested
Unless you can point to the image on your own web site, you have to upload to a host site. Then paste the address between the 'Img' tags in your post....
This is a picture I uploaded of a nail puncture. http://imagehost.darkernet.co.uk/i/MyPuncture2.jpg
In the above case to view it you must click on the address.
Placing the address between image tags
Like this below, but without the capital x at either end
[Ximg]http://imagehost.darkernet.co.uk/i/MyPuncture2.jpg[/imgX]
Gets you this ...
