How do I remove unwanted wall sockets?

has to be a record. Why so many? 17 in the living room ?
Previous owner was elec engineer , none of the sockets matched. Kitchen also had 7 fluorescent strip lights on the ceiling and 6 on external walls .Guess he didn’t like throwing anything away .

13 flouresant bulbs in one room, (like 5 foot ones ?)
was he growing some sort of exotic plant that needed a lot of light ?
 
First thing you need to do is buy a fire extinguisher, One suitable for electrical fires, Second thing STOP watching tutorials and third thing is get an electrician

Because it seems strange to me to want to remove sockets, something that you can never have too many of.

But they can be in the wrong place.

Rooms are often redesigned, walls removed, door and window openings introduced, etc...

All of these can necessitate the removal or resiting of electrical accessories.

Something which I, like Sun, have done countless times in my career.
