How do I wire this 2 port valve into system?

On a single channel eg LP111 or LP711, yes. But we are talking an LP241, I assume no built in clock on the boiler. In this case, ignore terminal 3 on the boiler.

you are right - I did say twice check the time clock was volt free and that would need power from 3

if it is not volt free then yes you can start at time clock

You can't ignore T3 on the boiler, that the power out for all remote controls.

Mogget, we are correct on this.

It's really quite simple. Just use terminal 4 to fire the boiler. Ignore terminal 3. Leave the boiler in HW/CH mode and let the LP241 and MV weave their magic. Use HW side or the prog to do the drying room, CH side to do the whole lot.

Kevin, how can he achieve what he want using a Single channel prog???

I have revised it for all LP timeclocks

1 valve fitted after bathroom rad flow pipe

boiler 3 to time clock if volt free single (not needed if 2 channel programmer)

timeclock heating on to roomstat commons and grey of valve

bathroom stat calling to boiler 4
heating stat calling to brown on valve
orange on valve to boiler 4

2 valve

boiler 3 to time clock if voltfree single timer (not needed if 2 channel timer used)

time clock heating on to roomstat commons & valve greys

bathroom stat calling to bathroom valve brown
heating stat to heating valve brown

valves orange to boiler 4
can't see anything in that for it not to switch / work correctly

Unless you connect them in the room stat

You can't connect them in the room stat, the MV wouldn't let go if the drying room circuit was active.

That's why the grey wire must be connected to permanent live.

The LP241 is 240v only. ie, it doesn't do volt free. Only the single channel progs LP111, LP711, do volt free. In which case you would come off 3 on the boiler to 1 on the prog. However, this is not what he has or needs.

grey and common in room stat together and brown in calling

no in this case the grey is connected to the timer Heating on as it only needs to be live when the heating is called for

Kevin, please understand, grey does not connect to any room stat, it connects to permanent live.

The grey remains live 24/7, 365 days a year. The brown on the MV connects to heating on via the roomstat.

The brown then opens the valve, that is all. When the valve is open, a switch inside makes the grey to the orange. Orange then sends the signal to the boiler.

no in this case the grey is connected to the timer Heating on as it only needs to be live when the heating is called for

If the grey wire is connected to the CH ON terminal, and the valve is already open, and the drying room stat is calling for heat, electricity will flow from no.4 on the boiler, through the microswitch, and into the brown wire. The result would be that the motorised valve would stay open.

For this reason the grey wire needs to go to permanent live rather than CH ON, even though it's only needed when CH ON is live.
