No, because if he put the boiler into HW only mode the programmer would lose it' power and go blank.
Ignore T3 and T5. All he needs to do is connect to T4 to fire the boiler!

Sensibly thinking though, the OP should have gone the Y-plan route for 2 fully independent zones.
I recently did a system with 2 UF zones and a 3rd rad zone. The grey wires from the MVs were wired to the external out on the boiler, the oranges back in to fire the combi.
All the other controls, programmable stats, pumps, MV lives etc were wired independently to the boiler.
