How is this still a thing?

Up until 1964 the penalty for suicide was death by hanging. Witchcraft was also illegal until 2006.
 
How is blasphemy still an issue?

God knows.
It certainly still seems to be for Islam and its followers in this country so why not for Christianity.

I dont think he blasphemed though.
 
But he made a very good point; if this crazy world is all part of Gods great plan, then he's got to be an idiot, or having playing with us. Maybe deep down, the relgious rightious know this, but are afraid to admit it.

The problem here, is that the person who complained wasn't actually offended, but when his initial complaint to the police was ignored, he then went and complained to another police station.

But the law wan't intruced in 2009, it was a regurgitation of a 1937 law that only gave protection to the Christians, so this is maybe just a politically correct law; but unlike England, they do at least protect the Christian faith.

So where's the real problem here then.
