Fact is tbousands of previous labour voters voters who got labour there land slide victory have changed thete vote to reform ???

I see see that JohnD and noseall probably consider them to be scum bags now

Oh well

the problem with UK politics is the persistent and invariable pendulum effect, swing from right to left, back again, and occasionally swinging further to the left or right, every 5 years.
There was no swing to the left in 2024, just utterly desperate disillusion with the current Tories. Starmer got in just by not being the Tories. Most hoped for sensible, soft-left policies as stated in their manifesto.

This is why public opinion swung so suddenly against him, shortly after his famous "far-right thugs" rant on TV, followed by the Two-Tier political imprisonments and appalling shattering of the wall between politics and the judiciary. The electorate's been waiting to replace him since this very early very bad start.

The result? A pendulum-like swing.
The reason for the electorate changing their votes is irrelevant. The result is a swing in the FPTP system.

You disagree with his concern for far-right violent thugs?
I don't suppose you would disagree if he was addressing Muslim protestors.

followed by the Two-Tier political imprisonments
What two tier political imprisonments?

and appalling shattering of the wall between politics and the judiciary.
What shattering of the wall between politics and the judiciary?

The electorate's been waiting to replace him since this very early very bad start.
Based on the far-right gossip machine?

Clearly your head's full of toxic propaganda so there's no point in attempting to discuss the situation logically.

There were an insiginifcant number of arrests at the UKT rally yesterday, just as last time. Starmer spewed his usual weird, toxic incitements in the hope that it would make him look tough to his own party.

You're being spoon-fed rubbish by your leaders.

You mean it's different to your toxic propaganda?

So Starmer was proven right to ban far-right violent activists from entering UK.
Job well done!

You're being spoon-fed rubbish by your leaders.
Isn't that better than being a bottom feeder? :giggle:
