How much to install stove by HETAS?

Hi,

I have another couple of questions.

1. Is an increaser classed as "change in direction" for the purposes of this 600mm vertical pipe regulation? Especially the offset ones like this:

http://www.gr8fires.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=531&

where it's more of a widening to a bigger diameter rather than an angled change of direction bend.

2. This is depending on the answer to the above question! If there is no "change in direction" and my 600mm vertical stove pipe goes quite deep up into the flue making it trickier (but not impossible) to seal with rope/cement, is it ok to cut the stove pipe short to the entrance of the flue at about 400mm and then put the increaser adapter there to make it easier to seal?

Basically I'm assuming, but want to double check, that so long as everything is vertical with no "change in direction" for 600mm it doesn't matter whether it's stove pipe or flue.

Thanks again.

Dan

Nope.... Increasing the diameter of the flue is not regarded as a change in direction or bend...
