I've boxed in my boiler by using a flat pack tall larder unit, the unit can't go right back against the wall as the boiler is too deep, but it's securely screwed to the side wall so is not going anywhere. My problem is this, the gap between the side of this unit and the other wall is 1220, I want to fit wall units to be flush with the larder unit. I've rearranged the kitchen and have two 600 wall units, how can I fix them. I though of putting 20mm battens on the wall and attaching the first unit to that and then somehow bolting the other between this cupboard and the larder unit. Am I totally mad? Is there another way of doing it. The worktop runs at right angles to this wall so should I put a 'leg' down from the end of the first cupboard to take some of the weight.
