I put Petrol in a diesel

what if when we was filling up with "Diesel or petrol"

just bear with me..

you took the nozzle from the pump,and a voice operated message "says"

you are putting diesel into this vehicle

or

you are putting petrol into this vehicle

Just a thought..anybody for dragons den....i'll take 10%..i'm not greedy.

There are quite a few diesel pumps that have this feature...'This pump dispenses diesel'

the rest is up to you, but I doubt if you can get the diesel nozzle to fit in a petrol tank.

Many years ago I had a Vauxhal Cresta fitted with a Perkins diesel, I drove into a garage in Holland and started to fill it from the diesel pump and the attendant rushed out of the office shouting diesel! diesel! I thought he was going to have a heart attack, I managed to convince him eventually

Never mind the voice warnings. Black and Green. Its the international standard for fuelling.

I always open the cap, read "diesel" in the flap, and then look at the two nozzles available to me, pick the one that says "diesel" on it, make sure its black, and start filling.

I could also choose the orange one, as I fill up at Morrisons (reason 104), but thats B30 biodiesel, so I dont bother as it'll do more damage than even petrol will
