Hi. After your help last time, I have an ikea bathroom light to fit and would like any hints you can provide, especially on attaching the wires as they are not connected with a screw and the pictures are not very helpful. Do you just push them in?
Thanks Lynne :D

Possibly, can you upload a pic?
What wires do you have at the light fitting you want to replace?

First thing to note is that changing lights cause many DIYers problems!

Therefore don't go into it blindly.

First take pictures of the existing wiring and post up here.

To main thing to note, is there a single black wire (maybe going to the L terminal), does this have red sleeve on it? Its important you know which wire this is and it doesn't get mixed up with the other blacks which are neutral.

Do you have a fan in the bathroom (this may give you extra wires)

Yes the wires push in, but I guess they only allow two wires per connection?

Will take a picture when I am next there on Sat . Thanks. Have not taken the old fitting out yet.
