Hi - whilst on on here, getting some advice about my doughnut! 
i'd like to ask about another problem if i may?
i have an immersion heater which has a small time switch next to it, in the airing cupboard.
basically, i am not sure if the time switch is working or not. I use a boiler to heat my water, but after checking today and doing bits and pieces around the house, i noticed it didn't seem to come on when i tested it.
is there anyway i can test to see if it is faulty? i do have a multimeter if that is required, and have used it in the past 3 years or so, to test for a faulty room thermostat of all things.
