No. But you can use the impact with a hex drill bit.
The thing is with a quality impact is that you very quickly warm to the brutality of it.
From a professional point of view, it is better to have the power and not need it than to need the power and not have it.

How true! I sidestepped the issue of chewing up screw heads on s/steel hinges (royal PIA) by moving to a 3-speed impact (Makita 18 volt). Means that I can tame the beast when needs be
Just for all you impact lovers out there, this is relatively new by Makita btp141 18v all singing all dancing apparently.
I like that, I think you could start a new religion on the basis of that, perhaps the wood god spoke to you
....or try to fix shower rail to a tiled wall
