Indesit WIDL126 Seal Issue

hi all.

i wonder if you can clarify something for me.

my washer/dryer door seal as a hole in it. the hole is located at 6 o'clock approximately and is actually near enough next to the edge on the drum side of the seal. do i need to bother replacing this or will water getting through this point be an issue?

i guess the other question is how easy is it to replace the seal? it looks like it clips of pretty strongly to the door surround and drum. if anyone has a diagram or instrcutions on doing this, that would be great

That's a drain hole for the water to run in to the drum.

ahh right. thanks for that, now that i look closer i can actually see that the sides of the hole are formed
