Indirect thermal store?

Interesting. And what now?

The full report is being written now. It is an internal document so unlikely to be released into the public domain.

Some projects have been put on hold pending the formally presented analysis of the data collated from the survey.

Yeah, right.

Yeah, wrong, wrong boiler in fact.

Selection process affected by manufacturer's "distorted" data about the efficency of their boilers

Snippets from the report.

Seasonally adjusted values for efficiency are misleading.

The manufacturer's claimed efficiency could be achieved by data from firings in a test laboratory being used to create the boilers seaonally adjusted efficiency.

The manufacturer's claimed efficiency could not be achieved when supplying domestic hot water.

Comparing the gas consumption of the ********* boilers with the gas consumption of the boilers replaced and boilers not replaced and still in use..

The annual gas consumption of the ********* boilers was lower than that of the existing boilers
In summer the monthly gas consumption of the ********* boilers was higher
In winter the monthly gas consumption of the ********* boilers was lower

A comment in a document referenced by the report.

The manufacturer's approved boiler service technician stated that the boiler was operating close to 75% efficiency. Calculations using gas flow, water flow and temperature rise provided a true efficiency of less than 40%.

It's thoroughly meaningless.

Redaction of the boiler models and no methodology on this supposed test (where there is no mention of the flue gases) are just some of the reasons why it is nothing more than a demonstration of your own pomposity.

Assuming of course you didn't just make it up.

Happy New year BTW :D
