Spacing of saddles has been answered. What looks right is right. Seriously. On a short run, probably around 500mm or so.
The tests - Continuity of CPC, Ring Circuit Continuity, Insulation Resistance, Polarity, Loop Impedance, RCD Test if required.

There is a dfference in the spacing when the conduit runs vertically or horizontally. I have my brown OSG in the van but looking in the old OSG (I do not think that these values were changed)
H=1.5m
V=1.75m
As was adviced before this values do not look good , I normally make the distances much smaller... Lectrician answer is a good one, I do about 500mm as well.
