Hi the ceiling light in my bathroom is an led inset unit, one of the bulbs is out can anybody explain how to change the bulb it's not the ones with a circlip holding the bulb in fact the bulb doesn't move it seems the full light unit has to be pulled out the ceiling when I try this it comes out a little and stops I can see what looks like a spring hinge on each side of the unit but can't pull down further as the would cut into the plastic panels it's as if they won't push back enough to le the unit down any suggestions welcome I'm afraid I'll break the panel as you know they are thin plastic u n

There are a few different types, some require the front to be turn anti-clockwise a quarter turn, some fronts need prising away using a flat headed screwdriver. Then have come across the ones where whole fitting needs to be pulled from ceiling. If the latter, then it requires a little brute force, if you can draw the fitting out far enough to hold the clips upwards, then it will cause less damage to ceiling.

Had another go at it, turns out you have to screw chrome ring of the unit the guy installed it that tight the full unit was turning in the ceiling had to pull it down enough to get fingers on it to keep it still while unscrewing cover

Cheers

Right, let's try again.

And Mr Moderator - please note that it is unacceptable for you to imagine that I am "sneering", and then sanction me because you find you don't like what you have imagined. How about you just try reading the words that I write, without imagining anything?

The comment I made which you wrongly said was "sneering" was unprovocatively worded, and of relevance as it relates to the very important topic of people writing stuff that can be understood. Perhaps another thing you could try is my suggestion to the OP, and see what you think.

Please print that out, and ask someone you know who has never seen it before to read it exactly as written, i.e. with only the pauses and pitch changes etc indicated by the one comma in the whole thing. Ask yourself if it sounds OK.
