Hi,

I have bought an integrated Sharp slimline dishwasher and am currently trying to install it, however, the only available space I have for it is between the cooker and a wall (which has an opening of just over 450mm).

The instructions say to fit 4 small metal brackets to the machine and then fix these to the side of the adjoining cabinets. As there are no adjoining cabinets, I am not really able to attach these to anything. I was therefore wondering if I can just leave the appliance slotted into the opening without any fixings or whether this would cause problems going forward?

Due to the existing plumbing and kitchen configuration, the only other option requires me to move the sink to accommodate the dishwasher, but this obviously would require new worktops etc. which is starting to make it a bigger job than originally planned.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Ian
