Hello. Loft area has no insulation but there is a false ceiling about 2ft below , also not insulated. But no access to the false ceiling to enable insulation. Is it beneficial to insulate the main loft area ? Also if there are junction boxes in the main loft are, is it OK to lay insulation over them ?

Insulation for loft but false ceiling below

No. Few holes punched through from main loft for wiring. Joists in loft only 100mm hence some 18mm boarded walkways to get access to insulated central heating pipes and cws tank and pipework.
