The problem with choosing an insurance company is you will never know if they are 'decent' until you have to make a claim. In fact I'm not sure that the word decent could ever be applied to insurance companies

I would suggest doing the rounds of the usual suspects online for comparative quotes and make a judgement from there.

i always use a comparison site and pick one of the cheaper well known companies, i tend to change companies every year too as renewals are not competitive any more.

I have used Confused.com since it started and always get a cheaper quote than the renewal price, about £170.00 to insure my C5 this year.

I use 2 or3 comparison sites then check cash back site, paid as little as £85 for insurance
