Intergas Boiler Service

So the bottom line is;
When customers take a Homecare and breakdown policy including free boiler service, means you don't apparently get a service for free and takes trade away from Gas Engineers who do their job in a professional manner.

Pretty much.
I do work for my own customers and for a national insurance company.
The criteria of "their" servicing is nowhere near what I'd do for my own customers but the money they pay for a "service" is not enough to warrant the extra work... They pay about a 3rd of what I charge privately.

So what criteria do they adhere to, when they service a boiler, Intergas, Valiant ect. when they are different manufacturers?

They talk about keeping the boiler safe and "in good shape", which they obviously aren't doing if not following the manufacturer's guidelines/instructions. I don't know how they get away with it.

26.9 checks as bare minimum.
FGA, check the flue, operating pressure, gas rate, condense.

Even those last 3 are labelled optional!
