Will be either:

blocked condense.
dodgy ignition lead
or more likely a dody ignition block - especially if the installer forgot to remove the transit screw.

Simple fix. Service agent should have the parts with him.

If it were me I would swap out the ignitor block and lead.

Very rarely would it be the PCB.

I take it you've tried re setting it? Not on a pre payment meter are you?

yes I tried that , turned al the power off twice.! is there a reset switch on the front cos I pressed that too.!

not on a pre pay meter and it was working fine half an hour before I ran a bath cos I had the heating on.!

Sorry - I have already said too much.

Needless to say - if it is that that has caused the problem, removing it now is unlikely to solve the 4 code now.

As long as he was a Platinum installer with Intergas you will have a 5 year warranty. Otherwise, the good news is the repairs I have mentioned are pretty cheap.

Contact Intergas in the morning and let us know how you get on.

but this morning I turned the gas back on turned the boiler on , switched the stat up and hey presto it came straight on.,heating and water. maybe the has pressure in th the village was low. half of the village is still on oil and coal !

Thinking about it, condensation recycling into the combustion chamber can cause this too if the flue isn't fitted right. Think it only affects combis though.
