Yes, of course.

Although some other people prefer to listen to anonymous randoms online.
Interesting thing is, the Gurus on here are Justin, MBK, going to throw Mottie in as he seems pretty savvy to me and yourself, all seem to have different opinions of things investing wise which makes it even harder for any of us who know nothing about investing to make head nor tail of it all.

Opinions differ, but some would hesitate to invest today in a "world" fund which is predominantly invested in the US market, and whose biggest holdings are concentrated in the frothy bubble of a few big tech companies.

It's a valid observation. Tech / US heavy is a consideration and the growth has been phenomenal. Some might think it wont continue, but then I thought Facebook wouldn't go above 100bn Market Cap.

You could always go 50% VWRP and 50% IMEU for a more European focus.

Speaking of which

...a whole-world fund is currently dominated by the US market because it is so big. I recently took the decision to sell mine because I am of the opinion that US is overvalued, and is at risk from lunatic Trump...

Of course there will be people who will say I was wrong. By the time we know for sure, it will be too late.

On the 18th April you said recently sold. So by my calculations you missed about 8% of growth in 6 months.

Trump has done a great (unwittingly) job of applying the brakes to the market. He's out in ~2 years.

Yes, I didn't recall the date, I looked it up, it was actually 23/12/25.

After the March crash, it grew some more and I think is now up about 10% since I sold.

Of course, I invested the proceeds in something else.

It's easy to get upset with yourself on the shoulda, woulda, couldas. I sold a bunch of TSLA because Musk was a weed smoking loon, being squeeze by the SEC.

I had a similar feeling when I panic bought NVDIA at $94.44

I tend not to buy single stocks anymore.

It's been a necessity for me. During my early career I didn't bother with ISAs and the like and ended up having a lot of my earnings sitting in bank accounts or from left over RSUs. Then I needed to diversify and make my cash work harder to feel comfortable retiring. If I left cash in the bank I'd be losing ~2% a year with the tax, even if I could manage a 3.8% interest rate.
