Not really a good advert for anyone thinking of going to Shark el Sheikh.
Not at all, so long as it is confined to the Middle East and we keep our noses out.

I don't think they'd accept your 8 year olds anyway. So panic over.
If history is going to teach us anything! Its let them get on with it, our only involvement should be repatriating a few million muslims from our cities back to their homeland so they may die for Allah or Mohamed or whoever it is pulls their chain.

Bit older than that now.
what a farce. They protested to oust Mubarak and get democracy. They held free and fair elections, and Morsi won. Now the losers from the election cause a hoohaa and get Morsi overthrown by the military in a coup.
Its clear democracy is not for the Egyptian people.
The majority voted for Morsi. That's how democracy works. Like it or lump it. The danger now is Islamic parties know that even if they win democratically as they did in Algeria and Egypt, they will simply be overthrown. All this now does is make the position of radical muslims much stronger, as they always said "hey look, this democracy thing is just a smokescreen, they wont allow Muslims to run the country how the majority want".
I fear for Egypt. I've not been their since 2011. I certainly wont be going anytime soon either. the place seems an utter mess.
