Is this a smoke detector or a heat detector?

This is in my flat kitchen. Just wondering if anybody with any knowledge on smoke and heat detectors could help answer which of the two this is?

Also, if it's a heat detector, would that mean that no amount of cigarette smoke or vapour could set it off?

Should be cigarette and sausage proof.

NO grill suggests a heat, heat are usually open, with an element visible
smokes usually have no visible element and have a grill.

Heat will not activate a smoke
and
smoke will not activate a heat.
nowadays though you can get combined heat and smoke

And generally cigarette smoke will not activate either, unless you're a 60 a day chap
