Hospital trust guidelines are that they are supposed to offer reduced parking charges for long term patients, such as cancer sufferers. Just a lot don't.
And interestingly Wales are going to scrap all hospital charges.

I guess the problem where I live in the South of England is that parking everywhere is limited. If they offered free parking around here then cars would be left there all day and patients and visitors wouldn't be able to get anywhere near. It's bad enough with paying trying to get a space. Parking charges are a necessary evil in some parts of the UK.

Could it be that in UK PLC people are so used to being ripped off in every walk of life, that our mentality is now to not give a stuff?

UK people are undoubtedly ripped off, so your only solution is to not give a stuff.
And move on to generally blame 'everyones' woes on Capitalism.

Given that 'society' no longer exists in this country, then sadly that just about sums it up!

But what is even sadder is that whenever anyone comes up with an alternative they are simply derided as lefties/commies!

The population as a whole swallows this propaganda and is thus getting the system they deserve!

And the fact that they voted for Brexit merely shows that they have no clue about what/who are the real causes of their misery!

But hey, that lack of education was always part of the plan
