is top gear worth watching

Fab show ... Irreverent Clarkson sticking two fingers up to the establishment ...
I do enjoy it, but you must be kidding about J.C - he is the establishment!

How could you be any more conformist than a fat, beer-swilling, smoking, old, farty, Range Rover driving, Ferrari owning, BBC personality?

Fat? No, not really
Beer swilling? No, if you research Clarckson you will understand that he doesnt drink beer
Smoking? He has qit a 40 a day habit for his children.
Range Rover? He drives a mercedes and does not own a range rover
Ferrari? well Ill bow to your knowledge seeing as you know his so well

I’ve just done a calculation and on holiday this year I drank 55 units of alcohol a day. I would start at 11 o’clock with a beer which, because it was hot, was like trying to irrigate East Anglia with a syringe. So I would have three more.

Then I would guzzle wine and mojitos throughout the afternoon, the evening and the night until I fell over somewhere and slept.

Smoking? He has qit a 40 a day habit for his children.
He's merely a smoker in remission.

I didn't say that he owned one, however...

The Times Online wrote that Jeremy Clarkson said:
I decided last year to take a Range Rover on long hyphen term loan. I loved the design of the thing, but I couldn’t give it an unqualified tick in the box until I knew Land Rover could at least build one of the damn things properly.

Well, it’s been six months since the silver V8 arrived, crammed to the gunwales with toys and leather. It’s been used for shooting, family outings and regularly as a Top Gear camera car. We used it, for instance, to shadow the Jaguar XJ all the way to John o’ Groats and back.

In essence, it has had a short but violent life and I’m delighted to tell you that absolutely nothing has gone wrong.

Yes. I'm surprised that your research didn't turn up that one. :D

our opinions of what constitutes entertainment differ.

i watch very little tele because a majority of it makes me sick.

some people actually sit and watch big brother for Christ's sake.

Clarkson is predictable. sometimes rude but always predictable. i find most of the show watchable and amusing.

fortunately there are many other things we could do with our time. we have never had it so good. leisure time aplenty for most.

i play golf. ho hum.
