The best bit about my above post is that when I first saw John's posts (many years ago) and that he signed off kind Regards, I signed off to every cutomer via text or whatsapp............Kind regards. It just seemed more professional.

So John will live on on every message I send.

Oh Dear, very sad to hear that, I was starting to wonder yet still hoping for a better explanation.
Yes he will be sorely missed,
Goodnight John, thanks for your posts.
Morqthana thanks for letting us know.

Sad too hear, often private messaged him, but something he said only 2 months ago really moved me, when discussing previous members not posting

"It's uncomfortable, disturbing and very sad, but only too common a situation as I (and those around me) get older and older - I'm only too conscious that it could, literally, be 'my turn tomorrow' (I/m 76), but I find it quite hard having to live with such thoughts/knowledge."

Crikey. Does that mean he knew it was near?

RIP.
John seemed very organised, when Harry bloomfield and EFLI was missing he said on that post

Very much so - but still nothing from (or about) either EFLI or Harry.

Quite apart from the obvious concerns, these situations in which "we just don't know" (and, in fact, "may never know") are very frustrating. Although it's far from a comfortable topic to think about, as I grow ever older, and with others in mind, I have been trying to reduce/eliminate the risk of such frustrations for people in the future. In the context of this forum (and others) that means that I have taken steps to hopefully ensure that you folks here would not be 'left in the dark' should I suddenly 'go missing'.

As I said, not a comfortable topic to talk about, but I would encourage other 'regulars' here to consider doing similar, for the sake of those who might otherwise be 'frustrated', as well as concerned, in the future.

Kind Regards, John
