I need some advice from a chippy! I have different height skirting in Lounge and Extension - I need advice on how to join them.

I am fairly competent so any advice will be appreciated.

Cheers
Kevin

If you were going to conceal a join it would not be there on a highly visible external corner.

Rather, you would return to a less well seen internal corner.

Why did you not use the same skirting as the existing i.e. chamfered?

Where thicknesses and types of skiting and architrave vary greatly a "skirting block" would be used at the junction.

You wouldn't. You'd do it where the floor covering changes
