Apart from lie about events.

Starmer's account of the number of people present started at 6 in January, before eventually rising to 'about 15', Durham police confirmed that '20' questionnaires were sent out.

The taxi driver who delivered the £200 takeaway claimed about 30 people were present.

After months of denials Angela Rayner was present, Starmer, after being shown evidence to the contrary, conceded she was there.

Starmer complied with the ppolitical campaigning exceptions, rules put in place by Johnson

Let's not forget that Starmer and Rayner were 'baying' for Johnsons resignation long before the FPN's, they were baying for his resignation simply on the grounds he was being investigated. Naturally they changed their tune when they themselves were investigated.

Johnsons pet media spent months trying to get the public to forget about partygate.

When that failed, all they had left was to try and falsely bring Starmer down to be as bad as Johnson…..and people like Fillyboy were happily gaslighted into that position.

For a good reason: Johnson LIED to parliament.

he broke the ministerial code
a resignation offense

so £7.00 a head?
Hardly a party is it?
Sandwiches at work cost a fiver.

Johnson's mistake was to accept the FPN. Starmer made it clear that he'd fight it with the full force of his legal team. He may be a rubbish PM candidate, but he's got a good legal team, not to mention his own ability. I'm not sure any CPS prosecutor would want that fame, given the weakness of the legislation.

Smoking gun rubbish.

I don’t think people getting p**ed and having fights helped. A curry with a few beers is easier to describe as a working lunch than a p**up. Nevertheless the legislation was not designed for retrospective fines and the FPN process certainly doesn’t work well for historical offences if contested.
